A foggy morning on the Bitterroot turned into a tough day of fishing. No epic streamer fishing was to be had. Two streamer takes all day. A 17-18" brown was angry and/or hungry enough to take an original and a 20" rainbow wanted to become internet famous until it threw the streamer's hook. When 2:30 rolled around the
BWOs started hatching and some fish were caught up top. Check it out in
HD.

Also, this is the 100th post on YGF. Fitting that it is a video.
UPDATE: It's actually my 87th post. Apparently, I have 13 drafts laying around.

Congrats on the fish, the video, and the 100th post!!!
thanks owl. i don't have the prolific posting numbers of OJDC, but i am giving it the old college try.
Great Stuff, Ivan. With the misty fog and the bright fall colors at the beginning, the video had a very Halloween-y feel to it. I was almost expecting you to be pulling in some monster...or a monster pulling you.
Take care with the bears! Aren't they in the "Stuff my face, I'm about ready to snooze" stage?
When 0:24 transitioned to 0:25 I knew it was gonna be good. Love the change of pace on this one, it supports the end of season sentiment perfectly. Also sounds like it's time to break out the trapped air technology...
cheers
Yeah, one of my new favorites - definitely top 3 - nice job Ivan!
Another great entry from YGF. I look forward to every one. Keep it up.
Really nicely done...I'm with Kyle. One of my new favorites. Cheers!
Ivan, I love your work! Excellent.
Perfect -- the music, the shots, the trout -- the feel. Possibly my favorite one yet.
Add me to the list - my favorite so far too. Great work - keep posting!
"Internet famous." My new passive aggressive phrase... Nice work, dude.
@DarkoV - no bears, yet.
@brian j - thanks man. I really enjoy your feedback, especially when you break down by time. bring the trapped air technology, just not directly in my ear.
@ kp - thanks man. thanks for posting it on Compleat Thought, as well.
@FR/Jason - thanks for stopping by. glad you enjoyed it.
@sanders - you are too kind sir.
@deanwo - thank you very much sir. thanks for stopping by.
@e.m.b. - thank you erin. means a lot coming from the legendary e.m.b.eezy.
@chris - i feel like passive aggressive is the best approach, especially with trooots.
@jen - thank you very much. it is one of my favorites as well.
Lewingwing gets its name because of its four large, diaphragm, wings with a lace-like pattern. Adult Lacewings are graceful and ethereal, dancing from flower to flower. It can be difficult to imagine that in the larval stage they are ferocious predators that eat common garden pests.
