Basketball (for those of us who can't jump as high as NBA players)
This Friday late night post has nothing to do with fishing, fly fishing, trout, pike or the like. A friend of mine turned me on to the Mini Basketball League (or MBL). A bunch of white kids, an 8.5 foot hoop, a mini-basketball. It is basically like a real-life NBA JAM. I can't jump worth beans. But I do enjoy watching other people....looks like fun. ;)
e.m.b. - it doesnt appear that you need to jump that high to play this game. 8.5 foot hoops arent that high.
Ha! True, true...but seems overwhelming when it's almost twice your height!
I spent most of my youth slamming mini basketballs through 8.5' hoops.
Hmmm...mini basketball. Just watched my 16 yr old son shoot a 3/4 court shot and barely miss at the buzzer. Gotta love the game any which way!
he puts the nail in the coffin! That is pretty darn funny.
BOOMSHAKALAKA! I want in. Getting bodychecked over the wall mid-"flight" makes it even better.
